Leave Manager Plugin

Done in the WordPress back-end (WP-Admin) using your WordPress login.

The ONLY way to create a Staff Portal admin is through WP-Admin. This is a separate account from your WordPress login.

Go to /leave-management/login/ — this is the plugin's own login page, completely separate from WP-Admin.

Check that signing out fully ends the session.

Test the full password reset process at /leave-management/reset-password/.

Go to /leave-management/change-password/ while signed in.

Go to /leave-management/employee-signup/ — this creates a standard staff account (not an admin).

Log in as a staff (employee) account. Staff can only see their own information.

Go to /leave-management/request/ while logged in as any user.

Go to /leave-management/history/ as a staff member.

Go to /leave-management/balance/ as a staff member.

Go to /leave-management/calendar/ — staff see their own leave, admins and managers see everyone's.

Go to /leave-management/profile/ while logged in.

Go to /leave-management/notification-preferences/.

Log in as a manager. Managers can only see requests from their own department.

Log in as a Staff Portal admin (created via WP-Admin).

Log in as a Staff Portal admin. Admins can see ALL requests from ALL departments.

Go to /leave-management/staff-management/ as a Staff Portal admin.

Go to /leave-management/reports/ as a Staff Portal admin.

Go to /leave-management/settings/ as a Staff Portal admin. There are 4 tabs.

Accessed via the Departments page on the Staff Portal. NOT in WP-Admin.

Accessed via the Leave Policies page on the Staff Portal. NOT in WP-Admin.

Set up public holidays and check they are not counted as leave days.

Manually add or remove leave days for a staff member.

Verify that users can only access what they are allowed to.

Confirm that previously fixed issues have not come back.
